With a focus on technology, and the hands-on making of things, a former instrument manufacturing building and car showroom was the ideal home for this charter high school. Tall ceilings and generous column bays adapt readily to classrooms and maker spaces and large windows fronting on Philadelphia’s main north-south artery, Broad Street, advertise the activities inside.
The building is a learning tool with construction processes left apparent.
