Hub of Hope Engagement Center

Client: Project HOME

Size: 11,000 s.f.

Together, CICADA, Project H.O.M.E., the City of Philadelphia, and SEPTA opened one of the newest homeless engagement centers, Hub of Hope, in the sub-concourse of the Municipal Services Building in Center City Philadelphia. Attending guests included Mayor Jim Kenney, musician and philanthropist Jon Bon Jovi, and city Councilman Darrell Clarke.

The 11,000-square-foot facility is meant to support citizens to transition out of homelessness and into permanent housing by providing access to various services from primary care and behavioral health, peer and staff support, to case management and placement.

CICADA Architecture/Planning, Inc.’s role on this project was to provide assistance with fit-out documentation and furniture, fixture, and equipment coordination for the facility from construction through project completion.
