New Hire Feature: Welcome, Q!

Quanniesha Pierre-Louis, Q, joined Cicada in 2022 after completing the M.Arch program at Jefferson University. She brings years of experience both in architectural design as well as in business and project administration. Her past experience includes single-family homes, university facilities, and public/ community spaces.

After developing a thesis focused on the housing crisis in Oakland, CA and its parallels with the intentional destruction of predominantly black communities, Q shifted her design interests to affordable housing and community development.

At Cicada, she assists with projects in all phases of design ranging from feasibility studies to construction administration. Outside of the office, you can find Q cooking, practicing yoga, or just being a mom.
